Collected far apart. At peace together.

From the studio ~

I have a habit of keeping natural objects that seem to carry more than their shape. The largest stone holds the impression of a fern, two smaller stones came home with me from outback Queensland, and the eggshell came from my grandad’s collection. They arrived from different places and different moments, yet together they settled with the calm of things that had been waiting to meet. Perhaps that is why we keep such objects: over time, they become a quiet map of where we have been and what we carry with us.

I built the small sculpture without Blu Tack or hidden fixings, trusting each piece to balance or give way. Once it held, I added a single drawn line that travels around the arrangement, wrapping the separate objects into one visual whole. It became the final gesture that allowed everything to find its place — and stay.

Print Details

This piece features my original photography printed on premium archival-grade canvas using museum-quality giclée printing technology.

The canvas I use is a 340 gsm poly cotton blend with a matte/satin finish. It is scratch, crack, & warp resistant.

The printing process I utilize uses water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection to product vibrant, long-lasting colors.

Framing Details

Your print will arrive framed and ready to hang.

The frames I use are called 'floater-frames'. I've chosen them for 2 reasons: they provide a clean, modern aesthetic that adds depth and dimension to the piece; and the box-like structure provides the option to sit the piece upright on a surface rather than hanging it.

When you look at the work straight on, the frame thickness is 1cm regardless of canvas size. This means that the frame edge will feel more prominent on smaller canvas sizes. From the side, all frames are 4cm deep, this means the front surface of the piece will sit 4cm out from your wall.

My frames are crafted from high quality solid oak or solid hardwood, from renewable sources, and comes pre-installed hanging hardware and rubber bumpers.
