From the studio ~
We arrived in Far North Queensland later than planned and found far less water across the region than we had expected. Then we came upon these paperbarks growing from the lake, doubled in its glass-like surface. The discovery held the particular wonder of finding something beautiful after I had already adjusted to its absence — a place appearing almost like a mirage.
I framed the trunks and their reflections together, allowing the trees to continue beneath the waterline as though the world extended in both directions. The still surface turns the landscape into an arrangement of soft colour, vertical rhythm and symmetry.
Print Details
This piece features my original photography printed on premium archival-grade canvas using museum-quality giclée printing technology.
The canvas I use is a 340 gsm poly cotton blend with a matte/satin finish. It is scratch, crack, & warp resistant.
The printing process I utilize uses water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection to produce vibrant, long-lasting colors.
Framing Details

The frames I use are called 'floater-frames'. I've chosen them for 2 reasons: they provide a clean, modern aesthetic that adds depth and dimension to the piece; and the box-like structure provides the option to sit the piece upright on a surface rather than hanging it.
When you look at the work straight on, the frame thickness is approximately 1cm regardless of canvas size. This means that the frame edge will feel more prominent on smaller canvas sizes. From the side, all frames are approximately 4cm deep. This means the front surface of the piece will sit 4cm out from your wall.
My frames are crafted from high quality solid oak or solid hardwood, from renewable sources, and come with pre-installed hanging hardware and rubber bumpers.

Each canvas is produced especially for you, so change-of-mind returns or exchanges aren’t available. Please choose your artwork, size and frame carefully. If you would like help choosing the right size, contact me before ordering.
Damaged or incorrect delivery
If your artwork arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact me as soon as possible—preferably within 48 hours—with photographs of the artwork and packaging. I’ll assess the issue and arrange the appropriate remedy. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
