After more than a year of planning and another 8 months of making, I held my first solo exhibition at LANTANA Space in Moffat Beach. This was the biggest body of work I have produced to date and I am over the moon with the response.
“Take a Stroll through the imagination and lens of conceptual artist and photographer Karina Sharpe in her first solo exhibition. In visual response to her debut prose book The Fifth Week of Friday, Karina gives us 14 new works full of layers, whimsy, emotion and touchableness. A not-to-be-missed milestone of her creative career, this 2 day showing is a poetic banquet of beauty and wit, 2 years in the making.”
