Happy news, my debut book release is ready, with reviews so beautiful they put my heart in my throat. The fifth week of Friday is a prose book about hope, wonder and the tragedies of self-limitation.

“Words dropped into my head and into my heart.
I asked The Afternoon what he thought I should do about them and he told me to sleep on it.
I asked the Raven his opinion, but he reminded me we still aren’t friends.
I tried to ask the birds, but they wanted something in exchange.
So I put the words on paper and let them paint a picture for us all.”

With help from my friends the Frangipanis and my nemesis the Raven, The fifth week of Friday helps us hold a mirror to our own hearts to achingly reveal the universal ways we let ourselves down and witness opportunities to choose better; only to bring us home again, closer to our fullest & gentlest self.

While many poetry books wander around the concepts of finding and losing external love, The fifth week of Friday is a love story to self and the first phase on a journey to inner freedom, wonder and belonging.
