Dusk Dreaming
From the studio ~
There is a brief point between dusk and night when the familiar world seems capable of becoming something else. The light has almost gone, but possibility lingers — that fleeting feeling that a different story might begin if the moment could stretch a little longer.
I photographed the hibiscus branch in two takes. In one, I held the bloom in precise focus; in the other, I shifted the lens sideways, drawing a soft sweep from the flower’s own colours. Blended together, the captures leave time slightly out of step. A small heart-shaped opening in one otherwise unremarkable leaf waits quietly to be noticed.

Print Details
This piece features my original photography printed on premium archival-grade canvas using museum-quality giclée printing technology.
The canvas I use is a 340 gsm poly cotton blend with a matte/satin finish. It is scratch, crack, & warp resistant.
The printing process I utilize uses water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection to product vibrant, long-lasting colors.
Framing Details
Your print will arrive framed and ready to hang.
The frames I use are called 'floater-frames'. I've chosen them for 2 reasons: they provide a clean, modern aesthetic that adds depth and dimension to the piece; and the box-like structure provides the option to sit the piece upright on a surface rather than hanging it.
When you look at the work straight on, the frame thickness is 1cm regardless of canvas size. This means that the frame edge will feel more prominent on smaller canvas sizes. From the side, all frames are 4cm deep, this means the front surface of the piece will sit 4cm out from your wall.
My frames are crafted from high quality solid oak or solid hardwood, from renewable sources, and comes pre-installed hanging hardware and rubber bumpers.
