My nan taught me to look closely at the things most people walk straight past. Not just to notice a leaf, but to wonder why one edge is serrated and another smooth, why colour gathers in one place and fades in another. She gave me that habit before I understood any of the science behind it. Some ways of seeing become part of us long before we have words for them.
For Leaf Curvature, I turned that same attention toward a single leaf, lifted from the shrub and photographed at true-to-life scale. I used engineering software to measure the radius of each curve, then annotated it like a technical drawing. Separated from the collective, its faint white edging, flush of red and shifting contours became visible—the quiet specificity we often miss until something ordinary is given our full attention.
Print Details
This piece features my original photography printed on premium archival-grade canvas using museum-quality giclée printing technology.
The canvas I use is a 340 gsm poly cotton blend with a matte/satin finish. It is scratch, crack, & warp resistant.
The printing process I utilize uses water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection to produce vibrant, long-lasting colors.
Framing Details
Your print will arrive framed and ready to hang.
The frames I use are called 'floater-frames'. I've chosen them for 2 reasons: they provide a clean, modern aesthetic that adds depth and dimension to the piece; and the box-like structure provides the option to sit the piece upright on a surface rather than hanging it.
When you look at the work straight on, the frame thickness is approximately 1cm regardless of canvas size. This means that the frame edge will feel more prominent on smaller canvas sizes. From the side, all frames are approximately 4cm deep. This means the front surface of the piece will sit 4cm out from your wall.
My frames are crafted from high quality solid oak or solid hardwood, from renewable sources, and come with pre-installed hanging hardware and rubber bumpers.

Each canvas is produced especially for you, so change-of-mind returns or exchanges aren’t available. Please choose your artwork, size and frame carefully. If you would like help choosing the right size, contact me before ordering.
Damaged or incorrect delivery
If your artwork arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact me as soon as possible—preferably within 48 hours—with photographs of the artwork and packaging. I’ll assess the issue and arrange the appropriate remedy. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.
No generative AI was used in the creation of this work. All composition, editing and embellishment were carried out through deliberate artistic decisions and hands-on processes.
