At Double Island Point, the orange cliffs rose almost eighty metres above me into a violet sky. Along their upper edge, birds moved in loose formation, dipping and turning as though they were tracing the contours of the bluff. Looking up, I felt briefly untethered from everything at ground level — the kind of unexpected freedom that arrives when your attention is carried somewhere larger than yourself.
I framed the cliff as a narrow threshold between earth and sky, allowing the birds to become part of its changing outline. Rather than photographing the wider landscape, I followed the small choreography happening high above it: a whole world unfolding at the edge of view.
No generative AI was used in the creation of this work. All composition, editing and embellishment were carried out through deliberate artistic decisions and hands-on processes.
Print Details
This piece features my original photography printed on premium archival-grade canvas using museum-quality giclée printing technology.
The canvas I use is a 340 gsm poly cotton blend with a matte/satin finish. It is scratch, crack, & warp resistant.
The printing process I utilize uses water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection to product vibrant, long-lasting colors.
Framing Details

The frames I use are called 'floater-frames'. I've chosen them for 2 reasons: they provide a clean, modern aesthetic that adds depth and dimension to the piece; and the box-like structure provides the option to sit the piece upright on a surface rather than hanging it.
When you look at the work straight on, the frame thickness is 1cm regardless of canvas size. This means that the frame edge will feel more prominent on smaller canvas sizes. From the side, all frames are 4cm deep, this means the front surface of the piece will sit 4cm out from your wall.
My frames are crafted from high quality solid oak or solid hardwood, from renewable sources, and comes pre-installed hanging hardware and rubber bumpers.
