Artwork story

This image was first made for Paradiso Magazine around the theme of fantasy. For Waltz, I kept returning to the kind of joy that exists simply to make a moment lighter — bubbles rising through the air, flowers caught as though mid-dance, and colour arriving in one buoyant rush. It holds the feeling of being swept up by a moment before you have had time to stand back from it.

I built the bouquet upside down, allowing the amaranth to drape naturally while gravity worked in the opposite direction to the final image. Once turned, its trailing form reached upward instead. I photographed the bubbles across several takes, bringing them together until the whole scene felt suspended at the height of its celebration.

Print Details

Each artwork is printed on Ilford GALERIE Prestige Smooth Pearl, 310gsm, a heavyweight photographic paper with a softly lustrous semi-gloss finish.

I chose this paper for the way it holds fine photographic detail and rich colour while keeping reflections softer than a high-gloss print.

Fine Art Prints that include a white border are designed that way as part of the artwork presentation. The selected size refers to the full dimensions of the printed sheet, including the border.
Framing Details

Framed works are handmade in Sydney and arrive ready to hang.

Choose from Black, White or Natural Oak. Each frame has a clean gallery-style profile measuring 2 cm wide × 4 cm deep.

The artwork is protected behind UV-resistant Shinkolite Perspex and backed with 5 mm acid-free adhesive foamcore.

The work is presented without a mat, allowing the image to sit cleanly within the frame. Where a white border is included, it forms part of the artwork itself and is not a framing option.
Shipping & Returns

Each Fine Art Print is made to order in Sydney, with free standard delivery Australia-wide.

As a guide, allow approximately 1–2 weeks for metro areas, 2–3 weeks for regional areas, and 3–4 weeks for WA, NT and TAS. Tracking is provided once your order has been dispatched.

Because each print is made specifically for your order, I don’t generally accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

If your artwork arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact me as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the artwork and packaging. I’ll work with you to arrange the appropriate remedy.
