2024 - Uniquely presented work, 1 only.
68 × 90 cm - embellished frame.
Released for sale March 2026.

I made The Landing as an exploration of surrender, scale, and the strange beauty of letting go.

A figure lies within the grass like a fallen frangipani - pink against green, her hands almost the same size as the clover leaves around her. Through deliberate composition and shadowing, she becomes part of the landscape, enveloped by the foliage like a flower that has just landed.

A lot of my work begins with emotional states translated through forms found in nature. In this piece, I was thinking about how hard it can feel to let go and trust, when sometimes that is the one thing that will change our life. I was also drawn to the idea that we can see a fallen flower as the end, when it could be much closer to a beginning of something we do not understand.
